Nineteen brilliant student groups have designed and implemented interactive authoring tools for creativity support, addressing user groups such as choreographers, screenwriters, beat-boxers on the go, and more.

Playbook is a digital clipboard for youth basketball coaches and their teams, wherein users can create and share plays. Designed to mimic the classic coaching medium, Playbook seamlessly extends traditional clipboard drawings with the ability to view plays not just as images, but as animations. This application was built with the coach in mind, because the less time you spend writing plays, the more time you spend on the floor.

Our product is a communication and design application platform for prospective architect and designers to design and build rooms for clients in real time without having to redo a design and apply real life textures and objects to simulate the design into being. Clients can communicate real time with their designers and check on their progress as time goes.

Make your own customizable recipe book! Be able to add new recipes, edit old ones, and share recipes with your friends. And with the built-in “My Pantry” feature, always find out which recipe can make with what you have. This app is the home cook’s best friend!

Chordination is an application meant to help AFX directors and other dance choreographers with blocking, or the process of putting their dancers into formations. When blocking nowadays, directors have to intricately hand draw formations or input numbers in an Excel spreadsheet one by one. However, our application provides various tools to expedite the process, allowing directors to spend less time on the tedious process of blocking and more time helping their dancers grow.

STRIVE is a social networking platform that allows amateur basketball athletes who cannot afford personal training to join an online community where they can give and receive feedback. Users share their performance by uploading a video of them playing basketball and specifying their main area of focus/concern. Videos will be uploaded to the main portal, where other users can view and critique on areas of improvement by capturing a specific moment of the video to analyze, annotate and comment.

Cheers to Life is a family-oriented application that strives to create long-lasting family legacies. Catered toward adults yearning to document the history of their aging parents, it provides users an easy way to create an adaptable, dynamic, and beautiful timeline detailed with images, videos, and takeaways. This digital archive can be accessed by generations to come - ultimately serving as a reminder of the vast array of achievements and milestones of their respected elders’ lives.

The name RapDuo reflects the collaboration of the two main parties involved in the creation of a rap song: Rappers and Producers. The partnership between them is a relationship that extends beyond the logistical transaction of beat production and upon it song establishment to become a synchronized process of a combined artistic vision and its resulting creation.

Have you ever had a time when you were writing or presenting for others, but no one seemed to understand you? Simplify is here to help! Simplify is a web application that turns your complicated, field-specific words into simpler words that different groups of audiences can understand. It generates words that match your specific audiences’ level of understanding, such as for children, teenagers, or the general public. With Simplify, you don’t have to worry about not being understood again.

On the Run is a tool for outdoor runners to create their own custom running experience. On the Run allows you to draw out different routes and get the most out of your workout by calculating the mileage, estimated time, and calories burned. This app changes the way runners can keep track of their progress by providing a way to explore fresh, new paths but with consistent distances or times.

Stage Block is a tool dedicated to helping playwrights visualize their scene. In addition to being able to add dialogue to a script, they can also adjust the positions of different characters by drag and drop of stick figure representations on an uploaded stage image. The playwright can then use the included visualization tool to learn more about how the different characters feel together as they say their lines.

Bevvy is a creativity support tool for drink recipe authoring. Bevvy reverences established drink recipes so the user doesn’t have to, providing ingredient suggestions for young, amateur mixologists who lack experience and want to make drinks for social events with friends and family.

Designed for novelists, Version solves the issue of messy, unorganized drafts and version experiments. With Version, users never have to worry about losing their work or committing too early to an idea. After writing as many versions for a scene as they want, they can easily compare and highlight the differences side by side in order to pick and choose what they like best for their final novel. Version allows writers to find the best version to fit their book vision.

Qnote is a tool which allows users to document and organize information from multiple text files according to custom criteria they create. This information can then be displayed in a number of visually impactful ways. Whether you’re curating notes on the timeline of a specific medical experiment, or creating comprehensive reference guides with thorough annotations and tags, Qnote’s easy to use design allows users to dive right in and create meaningful documents which fit their needs.

PaintPaw is an app made specifically for patients who are staying at a hospital and wanting to connect with others and heal through art. Our app enables patients to collaboratively draw on a canvas while having a chatbox to communicate with each other, so that they could share their thoughts, struggle, and stay connected with other patients during a difficult time. Our app will also connect specific patients with each other, so they could show sympathy and support for one another.

Mousaic is a copyright-free music platform for nonprofit use. It’s designed for hobbyist and lovers of music in order to help them share their works or find inspiration in the work of others. Derived from the words music, mosaic, and ‘mousai’ — the Greek word for muse, Mousaic aims to aid users in their creativity projects by stimulating the idea generation process. Users can browse existing music submissions of various keys, instrumentations, tempos, genres, moods, or lengths.

LEAPING FISH presents to you a tangible, interactive Audio Photo Album for seniors with Alzheimer’s to record, reconstruct, and revisit the stories of their life and their loved ones. The elder-friendly interface allows users to record and play their stories with the tap of a photo. The album is compatible with photos, music, artworks, and collectibles while providing the user with a multi-modal experience.
